Free Online I Ching Reading
三枚銅錢 · The Three-Coin Method
Hold your question clearly in mind, then cast. Three virtual coins are thrown six times, building your hexagram from the bottom line up — exactly as with physical I Ching coins. Everything runs in your browser; nothing is recorded.

How the coins decide each line
Each coin shows heads (3 points, the side with more characters) or tails (2 points). Add the three coins:
- 9 — old yang: a solid line that is changing (marked 9)
- 8 — young yin: a broken line, stable
- 7 — young yang: a solid line, stable
- 6 — old yin: a broken line that is changing (marked 6)
Changing lines flip into their opposites and point to a second hexagram — where your situation is heading. More in changing lines explained and the full coin method guide.
